Did you know? Most great places to go in Miami are right on a Miami-Dade public transportation route? You can get to the beach on the metrorail and bus, you can get to the South Florida Historical Museum by Metrorail, to Bayside by Metromover... check out the Miami-Dade Transit site and use the "trip planner" for a detailed itinerary of exactly when and how to get WHEREVER you want!
Miami Schools... pre-K to 12th grade
Miami is home to one of the largest public school systems in the US. It also boasts some of the most highly ranked schools, both public and private. In addition to hundreds of schools offering pre-K to 12th grade, there are many higher education institutions.
These are the largest, most common utility companies used in Miami. However, many municipalities use different companies, or handle the billing for these companies separately. Check with your city or building for the most accurate information on connecting and options.
Buyers and especially TENANTS... make SURE you call all applicable power, phone, water companies and have the service connected to your name as soon as your closing day or lease starts! There could be penalties for not switching local utilities over to your name right away!! And do your online research, right now there are great deals to be had for cable service, direct TV or satellite service, and local phone services!
