A Moving to Miami Family adventure might seem a little overwhelming. After all, Miami is a huge place. Are you bringing the family, or coming here with plans to stay and eventually raise a family yourself? There are TONS of incredible places in which to live and have fun between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. There are many of communities offering "suburban" living with little league baseball, parks, arts programs, karate and good schools.
There are also many areas that are SINGLE-FRIENDLY. Those areas tend to have better night-life activities like theater, night clubs, bars, and social events... but area schools might be undesirable, rent averages much higher, and there may be much fewer parks and family oriented day activities to do nearby.
If you're considering Miami, remember that it's a REALLY BIG place... so do some research! I'm including links to some of my favorite Miami websites to help you get started learning about Miami and all it has to offer to you and your family!
Key Biscayne's Crandon Park Carousel
Everglades National Park
